The inspiration for this interview was fairly obvious to me, but let me share. I’ve been talking about this project for awhile. The inspiration would come and my wife (Melissa) was always in full support, yet somehow life always just got in the way of my desire to launch something.

I had the pleasure of meeting Oren down at the beach courts in South Beach, Miami this past summer. Our initial meeting wasn’t the most welcoming at first. Beach volleyball can be a bit clicky sometimes.

I was excited to chat with Andreas, we hadn’t seen each other in close to 20 years. We both played beach volleyball on the World Tour together for a long time, but back then we were both in different places and had very different focuses in life.

I get the chance to see Alissa on pretty much everyday when I’m coming or going from my building. It is very rare that I walk by and not see somebody talking to her at the front desk.
